Job Description

The New York Red Bulls are one of 30 Major League Soccer (MLS) teams. RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, has competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull, for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

The Academy Performance Analyst plays a key role in delivering visual and data-driven insights that support player growth and team strategy. You will work closely with coaching staff to prepare tailored analysis, contribute to personalized development plans, and manage a growing library of tactical and technical footage. The role also requires flexibility to travel and a strong understanding of the club’s methodology to ensure consistent performance support across all environments. This position focuses on all aspects of performance analysis for our Academy while working closely with the clubs Head of Performance Analysis.

Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.

Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

• • Film and coding of all Academy training sessions and games as directed (includes traveling with Academy teams to away games and tournaments as needed).
  • Prepare pre, live and post-match analysis for Academy teams as directed.
  • Support all aspects of the Individual Development Plans including participation in player meetings.
  • Databasing of principles and playing philosophy clips from matches and training.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

• Minimum of two years working in an elite youth environment
• Experience and expertise in using any and all necessary performance analysis software
• Good understanding of Red Bull Playing Philosophy

• Travel 20-30%
