Description
The Frank G. Zarb School of Business is inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Information Systems beginning in the fall of 2026. We are seeking a candidate whose primary area of teaching and research is Cybersecurity Management. An ideal candidate would also have the ability and desire to teach a variety of information systems courses beyond Cybersecurity Management.
The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (ISBA) in the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University offers BBA/MBA/MS programs in Information Systems, Cybersecurity Management, Business Analytics, and Business Operations & Healthcare Analytics. The Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management program delivers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the skills necessary to address complex cybersecurity challenges in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The program emphasizes strategic cybersecurity planning, governance, and policy development, ensuring alignment between cybersecurity practices and organizational objectives. Supporting this academic mission, the Cybersecurity Innovation and Research Center is a collaborative initiative between the Frank G. Zarb School of Business and the Fred DeMatteis School of Engineering and Applied Science. The Center features a 1,000-square-foot facility outfitted with state-of-the-art security technologies and tools. The individual in this position is expected to actively engage with the Center and contribute to its research and outreach activities.

$160,000-$170,000

Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
