Description We are looking for a skilled Banner HRIS Analyst to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with HR and technical teams to optimize system processes and resolve data-related challenges. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in managing HR Banner systems and have the ability to communicate technical solutions effectively. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with HR teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions. - Analyze and resolve data-related issues within the HR Banner system. - Identify system inefficiencies and propose effective fixes and configurations. - Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of solutions. - Generate and interpret reports to support HR operations and decision-making. - Assist in the manual management of Banner processes and ensure system accuracy. - Configure new functionalities within the Banner system to meet evolving business needs. - Provide insights and recommendations to improve data reporting and analysis. - Facilitate communication between HR and technical teams to address system challenges. - Utilize tools like Cognos for enhanced reporting and analysis, if applicable. Requirements - Proven experience with HR Banner systems and their functionalities. - Strong analytical skills to identify and address system inefficiencies. - Ability to collaborate effectively with both HR and technical teams. - Knowledge of data gathering, reporting, and analysis processes. - Familiarity with system configurations and manual processes in Banner. - Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience with Cognos or similar reporting tools is a plus. - Understanding of ERP systems and business process functions.
