Job Description

Join our team of expert bench jewelers dedicated to master-level craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a skilled and professional jeweler with at least two years of experience in jewelry repair and metalwork. While diamond setting experience is a plus, we are willing to invest in training for the right metalsmith who is eager to grow. Our ideal jeweler is passionate about quality, precision, and continuous learning. We foster a culture of humility, honesty, and excellence—where every team member is committed to both their craft and the satisfaction of clients. Pay is based on skill level, with top compensation for those who master advanced repairs. If you take pride in your work, believe in lifelong learning, and thrive in a team that values integrity and expert craftsmanship, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today to take the next step in your jewelry career. Responsibilities: Perform Quality Jewelry Repairs • Execute precise ring sizings, reshanking, retipping of prongs, chain soldering, and head replacements while working with a torch and laser welder, and exhibit expert polishing/finishing with a focus on durability and craftsmanship. Commitment to Excellence • Maintain the highest standards of quality and attention to detail, ensuring every repair meets both company and client expectations. Eager to Learn Grow • Embrace training from master jewelers to refine skills, expand knowledge in advanced metalwork techniques, and progress toward mastery. Collaborate in a Team-Focused Environment • Work alongside a team of expert jewelers, contributing to a culture of continuous learning, support, and shared expertise. Maintain Workshop Standards • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment while properly caring for tools and equipment. Problem-Solving Adaptability • Approach each repair with a critical eye, diagnosing issues and providing creative solutions that enhance both the beauty and longevity of each piece. Qualifications: • This position requires SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE IN JEWELRY REPAIR in a retail or commercial jewelry repair shop. Please do not apply if this experience is not in place. Exceptions are made only for candidates who have taken classes at New Approach School for Jewelers. • Experience in chain repair, ring sizing, prong retipping, head soldering, intricate soldering, and other basic skills working with precious metals. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills in the realm of jewelry repair. • Willingness to learn and grow with a humble and appreciative approach to constructive instruction. • Ability to use both a jewelry torch and a jewelry laser welder. • Availability to start on location in a full-time position within two to four weeks. About Company: Thollot & Co. Jewelers is an independently owned luxury jewelry store redefining fine retail in Colorado for over 30 years. Our 5,000-square-foot showroom serves as a destination for clients seeking more than just jewelry. We help tell their stories.
