Biology Teacher | Teach in Qatar | UK Curriculum School

My client is a leading UK curriculum school in Doha, delivering to mainly students from Arabic backgrounds. The school is purpose built to cater for an all-female population of students while nurturing the religion ethos of the school which is Islam.

I am seeking 2 female Biology teachers that ideally have worked in a Muslim faith school before or have worked in the Middle East and have experience of the UK A level system. Candidates that are flexible to adapt to the working culture of this school and promote the values of the school will be preferred.

Requirements to Apply

1. Degree in Biology or related subject
2. A PGCE in Science of a relevant teaching qualification
3. Western trained
4. Ideally 2 years of experience
5. Excellent command of written and spoken English
6. STRONG experience of the UK GCSE and A level required
7. Able to use technology in the classroom

The ideal candidate would be someone that has strong pedagogy and technical expertise, has taught students that are predominantly ESL and have worked in an Islamic faith school before. The school has excellent facilities and is in Doha, which is up and coming. Teachers are from ex-pat and local countries.

Salary Package

1. TAX FREE salary up to 13,000 QAR per month
2. Two-year contract
3. Furnished apartment, either one bedroom or two depending on the seniority of the position.
4. Electric and water bills paid (not more than 200 Qr.)
5. Wireless internet provided
6. Round trip tickets yearly to point of origin or other destination with equal ticket price
7. National Health insurance registration
8. One-time shipping allowance of QR 1400

10. 50% of the teacher’s children fees equal to our school fees. (Maximum 3 children)

Due to the nature of the school and laws on the country of Qatar, only FEMALE candidates can apply for the role. The school is welcome to taking on married couples but have preferred single candidates ideally with no students due to the size of the accommodation provided.

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 9000 up to 13000   QAR (Qatar Riyal)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Gratuity Amount:
