• Maintain Vicor Central Library according to standards and conventions.
• Create new Package Types, Footprints, Schematic Symbols, Polarity Marks, and CAD Rotation Standards for all new SMT components, ensuring compatibility with datasheet and CAD standards.
• Support updates (only as needed) to the above, on existing components, to ensure alignment of these CAD parameters, layout database, and component datasheet.
• Generate PCB design documents (schematic, fabrication, assembly, and insertion files) from PCB layout database and initiate IAS requests for new PCB BOMs and drawings in SAP.
• Create schematic symbols and footprints for SM-ChiP to support layout design of their corresponding Eval/QA boards.
• Support creating BOMs in SAP for IC’s that are developed by the Vicor Rhode Island team.
• Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or related preferred.
• 5+ years experience with PCB Design documentation
• Experience with PCB Design Software Applications, such as Altium and BluePrint.
• Experience in managing a PCB CAD data library used by multiple designers.
• Detailed knowledge of industry standard PCB design documentation requirements.
• Highly detail oriented and organized individual.

Salary Range: $60,560 - $75,000
