Job Description

As our firm continues to expand, we are seeking a confident, results-driven Canadian Immigration Sales Lawyer — a professional who combines deep immigration knowledge with strong consultative and closing sales skills. This is a fully remote position and would be ideal for someone winding down their own practice or looking to leave the practice of law while still using their knowledge and skills. This role is designed for an experienced Canadian immigration lawyer ready to transition from daily casework to a sales-focused, client-acquisition position. You will conduct consultations, identify the best immigration pathways for clients, and confidently close full-service engagement agreements with qualified leads. As an Immigration Sales Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by selling our immigration services to those who reach out to us, so we can help more people around the world. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5–6 years of immigration legal experience working solo or in a boutique immigration law firm, understands the client's sales journey, and can translate legal insight into persuasive, solutions-driven conversations. Success in this role is measured by maintaining a minimum 40% closing rate. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success, who is confident in their immigration knowledge, sales approach, and genuinely committed to providing exceptional client experience. This position offers a base salary plus performance bonuses tied to results, offering unique earning potential. Responsibilities: • Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and networking. • Conduct thorough consultations with potential clients to understand their immigration needs. • Confidently present the value proposition of Ackah Business Immigration Law's services in a compelling and persuasive manner. • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with leads and clients to foster repeat business and referrals. • Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing directly to the firm’s overall success. • Collaborate closely with the client engagement and legal teams to ensure a seamless transition from initial contact through to service delivery. • Address client concerns and objections professionally, maintaining a client-focused approach throughout the sales process. • Continuously seek opportunities to improve the sales process and client experience. Qualifications: • Licensed Canadian immigration lawyer with 5–6 years of experience in a small or boutique immigration law firm. • Proven ability to sell and close full-service legal engagements during or following consultations. • Strong understanding of Canadian immigration law, processes, and client concerns. • Strong ethical standards and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve their goals. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a confident and authoritative presence. • Self-motivated, persistent, and driven by performance goals, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple leads simultaneously. • Comfortable using CRM systems, virtual meeting tools, and technology to manage leads. • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new software and technology. Compensation: This position offers a base salary plus a performance-based bonus, with a competitive structure and significant earning potential. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to earn substantial income based on their sales performance and hitting internal goals. How to Apply: If you are an experienced immigration lawyer looking to channel your expertise into a results-oriented, high-reward role, we’d love to hear from you. About Company: We are a leading immigration law firm based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, dedicated to providing exceptional services to businesses and individuals navigating the complexities of immigration. Our firm prides itself on delivering tailored solutions and making the immigration process seamless for clients.
