This role is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at a state hospital, providing direct patient care to adult psychiatric patients. The CNA will assist with daily living activities, health-related tasks, and patient transport, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. Experience in a psychiatric facility is required.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with basic hygiene (bathing, oral hygiene, dressing).
- Performing health-related tasks (taking and recording vital signs, collecting specimens).
- Assisting in emergency situations.
- Transporting residents to appointments and assisting as needed.
- De-escalation techniques.
- Communicating information and following instructions.
- Making observations and reporting/recording accurately.
- Maintaining constructive working relationships with colleagues.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Valid Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.
- Minimum two years of job-related experience in a healthcare setting or group home, with a minimum of two years' experience in an adult psychiatric facility.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of personal hygiene.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- CPI certification.
- One year of travel contract experience.
Special Considerations:
- Work in an adult psychiatric facility.
- Shift is 7 am to 3 pm.
- Open shift availability is preferred.
- Float pool assignment.
- Prescreening form required for submittal.
