This position is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at a state hospital's adult psychiatric facility, working a 3 pm to 11 pm shift. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, perform basic health-related tasks, and transport residents to appointments. Experience in de-escalation techniques is highly valued.

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene).
- Perform health-related tasks (vital signs, specimen collection).
- Assist in emergency situations.
- Transport residents to appointments and provide assistance as needed.
- Accurately report and record observations.
- Maintain constructive working relationships with colleagues and residents.
- Participate in de-escalation techniques.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Valid Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.
- Minimum two years of experience working in a psychiatric healthcare setting or group home.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing).
- Basic knowledge of personal hygiene.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- CPI certification.
- One year of travel contract experience.
Special Considerations:
- Open shift availability is preferred.
- The position is part of a float pool.
- Experience in adult psychiatric facilities is required.
- Prescreening form, resume, two references, skills checklist, and state certification/licensure are required for application.
Scheduling:
- 3 pm to 11 pm shift.
