Job Description

Chief Medical Officer - Fall River, MA
Job Type: Full-Time
Shifts: Days (Monday-Friday); Occasional evenings/weekends as needed
Healthcare Setting: Outpatient Community Health
Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership for physicians, nurse practitioners, and healthcare teams
Guide initiatives around quality, safety, patient engagement, and population health
Direct patient care, including consultations, exams, procedures, and prescribing treatments
Lead development and integration of electronic health record (EHR) systems
Support advancement as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH)
Perform medical oversight, including referrals, continuity of care, and wellness visits
Represent the clinical vision of the organization in alignment with strategic goals
Participate in partnerships with external entities and clinical affiliations
Qualifications
MD/DO degree with current licensure to practice in Massachusetts
Board Certification in Family Medicine (preferred)
Valid DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
Previous work in public health or community health (preferred)
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as required
