Popular Assoc Multi-state

This position is responsible for the effective annual and quarterly review of a designated portfolio and also provides day to day support to a designated business banking team to ensure customers are effectively serviced and operational situations resolved promptly and efficiently.

In this position, you will:

• Ensure all information is received to prepare Annual Review and complete AFU forms. 
  
   
• Periodically review existing documentation in files for accuracy and consistency.
  
   
• Review and analyze information received to determine adequate debt service coverage and other covenants.
  
   
• Determination of adequate risk rating for each loan annually and preparation of ORRAT
  
   
• Obtain updated credit reports as needed to keep files current.
  
   
• Respond to vendors, accountants and auditors for informational requests or for verification of information received.
  
   
• Monitor financial reporting and covenant requirements to keep customer in compliance.
  
   
• Review of loans downgraded or deemed to have credit weaknesses. Forward to work-out any potentially uncollectable loans.
  
   
• Ensure respective databases are accurate and up to date for customer information.
  
   

To be considered, you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  
   
• Minimum of one year of experience in commercial banking
  
   
• Ability to review and analyze property rent rolls, leases, income and expense statements, tax returns, corporate and personal financial statements
  
   
• Familiarity with appraisals, environmental, site inspections, plan and cost review reports, global cash flow and stress testing
  
   
• Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established time frame
  
   
• Knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance related to area of responsibility (AML/BSA/etc)
  
   
• Detailed knowledge of Excel is required, as well as basic computer operations
