Job Description
BayCare is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic Total Rewards team. In this role, you will analyze compensation data to ensure market competitiveness and compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a key part in developing salary structures, evaluating jobs, and supporting compensation strategies that align with BayCare's mission and values.
**What You'll Do In the Role:**
+ Analyze market data and perform salary benchmarking to maintain competitive pay practices.
+ Participate in salary surveys and interpret survey results for compensation planning.
+ Develop and maintain salary structures and tables for HRIS system builds.
+ Prepare and update job descriptions; evaluate jobs using established processes to determine pay grade, salary range, and exemption status.
+ Maintain accurate records of job evaluations and compensation data.
+ Assist in developing BayCare's compensation philosophies, policies, and practices.
+ Partner with Total Rewards team and leadership to address compensation-related questions and issues.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
+ Perform calculations for various compensation elements under the direction of senior team members.
+ Prepare reports and presentations on compensation analysis and recommendations.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in compensation analysis, HR, or related roles.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems.
+ Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
+ Experience with analytical and reporting tools.
Location: Clearwater, FL | Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
**Status:** Full-time | Exempt
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
**Weekend Work:** None | On Call: No
