Description Robert Half is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our client in San Diego, California. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects while overseeing the full lifecycle of construction contracts. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in contract management, negotiation, and compliance to ensure seamless project execution. Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and subcontracts to align with project requirements. - Monitor and enforce compliance with contractual terms and conditions throughout the project lifecycle. - Manage contract changes, claims, and dispute resolution processes in collaboration with stakeholders. - Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, legal teams, and project managers to facilitate communication and resolve issues. - Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts and associated documentation. - Ensure all contracts adhere to legal, regulatory, and company-specific standards. - Provide support for tendering and procurement processes, ensuring contract terms are clear and favorable. - Identify potential risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize contract administration processes. Requirements - Proficiency in commercial contracts, including drafting and negotiation. - Demonstrated expertise in contract management and administration within the construction industry. - Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to construction contracts. - Proven ability to manage claims, disputes, and contract modifications.
