Job Title: Custodian/Porter

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must have basic math and accurate counting skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions and operational standards.
• Lots of enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Experience: High school Diploma or GED and 2 years custodial experience.

Classification: Non-Exempt

Position Summary : A Party Reflections Porter is responsible for keeping the building and property in clean and orderly condition. 

Responsibilities:

• Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
• Gathers and empties trash inside and outside.
• Keeps parking lot and outside area free of debris and trash, includes but not limited to powerwashing, leaf blowing, shoveling snow, etc.
• Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
• Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers.
• Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.

Physical Demands:

• Must have adequate vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Must have sufficient clarity of speech and hearing with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must have full range of motion and dexterity, including but not limited to the ability to bend, squat and reach overhead.
• Must be able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to perform essential job duties in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
