Customer Engagement Specialist Job Description of a Customer Engagement Specialist: We’re looking for a driven and personable Customer Engagement Specialist to join our Toyota dealership team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for engaging with sales leads, scheduling appointments, and helping guide prospects through the initial steps of their car-buying journey. Your goal is to create a positive first impression, build rapport, and connect interested buyers with our sales team. Key Responsibilities of a Customer Engagement Specialist:

• Respond promptly and professionally to inbound leads via phone, email, text, and web inquiries.
• Engage with potential customers to qualify their needs and schedule showroom or virtual appointments.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and appointments in the CRM.
• Follow up with leads who haven’t yet scheduled or attended an appointment.
• Assist the sales team by ensuring they are prepared for scheduled customer visits.
• Provide basic vehicle information, dealership promotions, and answer common customer questions.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications of a Customer Engagement Specialist:

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or appointment setting (automotive preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up habits.
• Comfortable using CRM tools and dealership communication platforms.
• Friendly, professional demeanor and a passion for helping customers.
• Knowledge of Toyota vehicles, trim levels, and promotions is a plus, but not required.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred
