Job Description

Salary: $101,400 - 183,300 per year Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in Linux Server and workstation environments.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with computer network concepts (network hardware, cable management, IP address management).
• Experience in the design, implementation, and sustainment of Virtualized Machine (VM) architecture.
• Experience in system configurations and applying security controls under Risk Management Framework.
• Must be eligible for Special Access Programs.
• Excellent customer service skills and clear communication, both written and oral.
• Comfortable working in an environment without immediate supervision.
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience. Additional work experience can be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

• I will lead the configuration, setup, and maintenance of numerous air-gapped Information Systems (IS) and networks.
• I will oversee and perform system updates, patches, and regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
• I will design and implement advanced system security measures, including firewalls, SELinux, and secure SSH configurations.
• I will develop and maintain automation scripts and use configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) to streamline administration tasks.
• I will manage virtualization platforms (e.g., KVM, VMware) and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• I will manage backup solutions.
• I will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• I will create and maintain detailed system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and change management logs.
• I will verify and maintain security configuration of multiple Information Systems.
• I will secure and maintain all components in accordance with established Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and customer directives.
• I will monitor customer requests and tasks to ensure requirements are addressed in a timely manner according to priority.
• I will express a strong desire to adhere to best practices and provide the highest quality of service and support.

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
