We’re looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to help us better understand our operations and outcomes through clear reporting, strong data practices, and actionable insights.

Role Overview
The Data Analyst will collect, organize, and analyze data across key areas such as enrollment, attendance, staffing, family engagement, student support, and program performance. This role will build dashboards and reports that support leadership decisions, improve efficiency, and strengthen services for children and families.

Duties

•Build and maintain weekly/monthly reporting for leadership (enrollment, attendance, staffing ratios, retention, waitlist trends, etc.)
•Create dashboards and visualizations (Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
•Clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources (student information systems, tuition platforms, forms, surveys)
•Identify trends and recommend improvements that support operations and planning
•Support compliance and audit readiness by ensuring accurate records and data integrity
•Develop simple data processes (templates, definitions, documentation) so reports remain consistent
•Partner with administrators and teachers to understand reporting needs and deliver user-friendly outputs
•Protect student/family information and follow privacy best practices

Requirements

•1–3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or operations analytics (education experience is a plus)
•Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning)
•Experience with dashboards/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.)
•Ability to explain data in a clear, practical way to non-technical teammates
•High attention to detail and strong follow-through
•Comfort working with sensitive/confidential information

Nice To Haves

•Experience working with school or childcare data (enrollment, attendance, SIS platforms)
•SQL skills or basic database querying experience
•Familiarity with KPIs related to early childhood programs
•Experience improving data workflows or automating reports
