Job Description

The Manager of Digital Marketing will play a critical role in driving BioMed Realty's digital presence and online engagement. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing all BioMed Realty websites and social media channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics, as well as excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and have agency management experience.

This position offers a hybrid work model, which includes 4 days in office and 1 day remotely. Hybrid work may be modified based on the needs of the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Website Management:
    • Own and manage all BioMed Realty websites, ensuring they are all optimized for search engines, user experience, brand consistency and compliance.
    • Oversee website development, updates, and maintenance.
    • Collaborate with design and content teams to create engaging and informative website content.
    • Track and analyze website performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute social media strategies across owned channels to increase employee engagement and advocacy, brand awareness, drive traffic to the website, and engage with target audiences.
    • Collaborate and coordinate with the communications function to ensure there is a healthy and steady flow of content stemming from internal and external sources.
    • Manage and maintain BioMed Realty's social media channels, liaise with property campus social media owners to ensure consistent and effective content creation, community engagement, and crisis management. (Hootsuite experience preferred)
    • Monitor social media trends and industry news to partner with communications and proactively identify relevant opportunities. (Experience in social listening highly desired)
    • Measure and analyze social media performance to track ROI and optimize campaigns.
  • Digital Marketing Campaigns:
    • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid advertising, and content marketing.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to align digital marketing efforts with overall marketing goals and programs.
    • Track and analyze campaign performance to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • SEO and SEM:
    • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility in search engine results.
    • Manage paid search advertising campaigns (SEM) to drive targeted traffic.
    • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to optimize SEO and SEM strategies.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize web analytics tools to track website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates.
    • Prepare regular reports on digital marketing performance to share with stakeholders.
    • Proactively provide recommendations to increase web traffic and conversion rates

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on website management and social media.
  • Strong understanding and experience with SEO, SEM, and social media marketing best practices.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in digital marketing, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles for better engagement.
  • Expert in WordPress, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

Salary Range : $106,000 - $133,000 per year + bonus + long term incentive + benefits
