Job Description

IHOP in Dalton is seeking a dedicated and energetic Dishwasher/Busser to join our team! As a key member of our restaurant, you will play an essential role in providing a clean and welcoming dining experience for our guests. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Weekends required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including dish storage and cleaning supplies
• Assist with food preparation and ingredients as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow for kitchen staff
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
• Set and reset tables according to dining room standards and guest preferences
• Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors and restrooms
• Support the front of house team during busy periods to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
