Job Role: GCP Data Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)
Require 5-7 + years of experience Data Engineers GCP
Strong knowledge in writing and interpreting complex SQL queries
Experience in GCP is a plus.
Strong ability to design, develop, test and maintain ETL solution in Google Cloud Platform especially in BigQuery.
Experience in discovering the raw information from different sources to create consistent, scalable architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for data analytics.
Good analytical knowledge in understanding the business needs and translating them to technical requirements
Experience in UC4 is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews and establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility studies (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, and estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations
