osition Summary
The General Laborer will assist with daily upkeep and maintenance of the plant facility. This role is responsible for supporting equipment cleaning, painting, and general plant care to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning of plant equipment, tanks, vessels, and work areas.
Assist with painting projects throughout the facility (interior, exterior, equipment).
Support plant upkeep tasks including sweeping, pressure washing, minor repairs, and waste removal.
Follow all safety procedures when handling tools, cleaning agents, and equipment.
Assist maintenance and production staff as needed with basic labor tasks.
Report any unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or facility needs to supervisor.
Properly store tools, supplies, and materials after use to maintain an organized workspace.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in general labor, industrial maintenance, or facility cleaning is a plus.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts when required.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Basic knowledge of painting and cleaning techniques preferred.
Strong work ethic with attention to safety and detail.
Work Environment
Industrial plant setting with exposure to chemicals, machinery, and outdoor conditions.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
Work schedule may include overtime or weekends as needed.
