About the Indiana Horse Racing Commission (HRC):
We know real Hoosier horsepower! It is the mission of the Indiana Horse Racing Commission to oversee pari-mutuel horse racing in Indiana, and to protect the integrity of the sport through active and diligent regulation.
Role Overview :
Incumbent performs investigative duties as required in order to avoid, reduce or eliminate misconduct of applicants or licensees within the jurisdiction of the Indiana Horse Racing Commission. Through the assigned investigative efforts of the incumbent, the integrity of Pari-mutuel racing in the State of Indiana will be maintained.
This position requires the incumbent to spend a majority of working hours at the track (s) and satellite facilities. Normal working hours will closely coincide with hours of racing. However, successful conclusions to investigations may require varied working hours as approved by the Director of Security.
This position is located at Caesar's Horseshoe Indianapolis in Shelbyville, IN. Must be willing to work evenings and holidays when needed due to the nature of the business.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $47,320.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
