Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a full-time IT Manager/IT Business Analyst. This role will oversee the information technology infrastructure at the offices of a labor union. Key responsibilities of this role include acting as liaison between the organization and IT vendors, leading the implementation of new hardware and software, acting as the data steward of the organization's database, developing reports, and providing technical support to both field agents and office staff.
Salary:
$60,000.00
Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage the organization's information technology infrastructure with the assistance of vendors.
· Perform batch processing tasks in a legacy relational database system.
· Develop ad hoc and recurring reports using SAP Crystal Reports 2016.
· Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and IT vendors, including those for networking, telecommunications, and the database.
· Support the Avaya phone system in coordination with telecommunications vendors.
· Act as the primary point of contact for technical support for both field agents and office employees.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software on computers, printers, scanners, iPads, VoIP phones, and mobile phones.
· Set up and move IT equipment as needed.
· Configure and enroll company-owned mobile devices into the Mobile Device Management (MDM) system and act as the MDM administrator.
· Lead the implementation of new software and hardware solutions as needed.
· Support the setup of technical equipment for meetings.
· Identify opportunities for IT improvements and lead the implementation of approved projects.
· Create and maintain IT documentation.
· Occasional travel to provide technical support for off-site operations.
· Handle other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Associate's degree in Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on IT experience;- OR -5 years of equivalent professional IT experience without a degree.
· Strong troubleshooting skills with a variety of hardware and software.
· Knowledge of computer networking and IT infrastructure.
· Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Home & Business, and Microsoft Windows.
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
· Familiarity with Apple mobile devices.
· Familiarity with relational databases.
· Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
· Proficiency in reporting tools.
· Experience managing devices through Microsoft Intune or similar MDM software.
· Experience with Avaya phone systems or other VoIP systems is preferred.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
