Job Description

Books & Brews in Indianapolis, IN is looking for a part-time janitor to work between 10-30 hours per week, on average. Hours are flexible based on availability. Pay is up to $15/hour based on previous experience in facility cleanliness, organization, and maitenence.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stock bar area including taps, sinks, floors, shelves, etc.
• Clean and stock kitchen area including sinks, cook surfaces, etc.
• Clean brewhouse area including kettles, floor drain, sinks, walls, etc.
• Clean and organize bathrooms, dining areas, and retail displays
• Assist with brewhouse and keg cellaring organization and cleanliness, if needed
• Clean and stock walk-in cooler and storage areas with required supplies
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Perform minor repairs and facility maitenence, if needed
• Notify supervisor or management team if any major repairs need to take place

Qualifications

• Previous experience a plus, but not necessary
• Must have attention to detail and safety guidelines
• Must enjoy and take pride in being in charge of overall facility cleanliness and organization
• Ability to handle / lift 50+ pounds as needed
• Ability to work well with limited supervision
