We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist Nocturnist Physician for locum tenens coverage in Pueblo, Colorado. This position offers a steady schedule with 12-hour overnight shifts and no on-call responsibilities. Candidates must be comfortable with adult inpatient medicine and managing med/surg floor patients.
Position Overview:
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Availability: 6+ night work weeks typically available
Call: None – Onsite shift work only
Weekend Requirement: As needed
Setting: Inpatient, Adult Medicine only
Areas of Rounding: Med/Surg floors only
Average Admissions: 7–11 per night
Practice Type: Hospital-based nocturnist work
EMR: (Include EMR if known or leave blank)
Inpatient care
Non-invasive ventilator management (BiPAP/CPAP)
EKG interpretation
Certifications & Requirements:
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (with hospitalist experience)
ACLS & BLS – Required
Active Colorado medical license – Preferred (or IMLC accepted)
DEA license
