Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm evenings as needed, weekend rotations, some holidays as needed
Travel: Some overnights as needed
Essential Job Functions
Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and program Fire Alarm, Access Control, Nurse Call Intrusion, Sound, CCTV, and IP Video Systems
Diagnose & troubleshoot connectivity problems during Service Visits
Accurately complete all required paperwork, such as Work Tickets and Inspection and/or Deficiency Reports, for all service calls and inspections
Perform equipment upgrades for existing customers
Electronically transfer equipment to customer locations to ensure accurate tracking of equipment
Keep accurate & current inventory & vehicle maintenance logs
Maintain company-issued assets including tools, equipment & vehicles
Provide the highest level of customer experience in all interactions with customers
Ability to work on low-voltage systems
Provide detailed oral and written feedback to management concerning customer issues
Other related duties as directed
Job Requirements
Currently hold or willing to obtain a State of Ohio Fire Alarm License
High School diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of industry certifications as needed (Ex: SBCA, SAS, etc)
Current valid Driver's License
Ability to drive a vehicle without presenting a safety risk to self or others
Ability to be added to Company auto insurance policy
Regular & reliable attendance
Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future
Ability to lift 25+ lbs consistently
Desired Skills & Competencies
At least 1 year of experience in fire alarm and security systems
Ability to communicate effectively & professionally with customers
In-depth technical and service training
Willingness to think "outside of the box" on-site locations

Enjoy working with hands & learning new technology
Experienced & comfortable using hand & power tools
Must demonstrate personal accountability; be punctual for appointments & meetings

$21 - $45/hour
