Position: Meat Cutter (Butcher) - Full Time
What you’ll do:
- Provide exceptional service to our customers
- Prepare special cuts and orders per customer request
- Provide suggestions to customers on different cuts, cutting techniques and serving size
- Offer customers samples, substitutes or suggestions on products
- Set-up department, product presentation and product image
- Maintain product quality by date checks and product rotation
- Follow Food, Health and Workplace Safety standards
What we are looking for:
- Strong customer service skills
- Bandsaw Experience Required: Must be proficient in using a bandsaw for meat cutting.
- Previous experience with cutting meat
- Knowledge of raw materials, product processes and quality control costs
- Arm-hand steadiness
- Enjoys working in a team setting
- Passion to work in the food industry
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a store retail environment
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
