Job Description
Administrative Tasks Dos
Assist with patient flow
Greet and escort patient throughout the facility
Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones burning CDs proper disposal of HPI
Serve as a liaison between the patient and the imaging team PSRs Technologist Tech Aidesleadership
Escalate patient concerns to Licensed Radiologic Technologist
Restocking supplies
Proper handling of medical equipment
Clinical Tasks Dos
Assist with room and equipment prep before/after imaging study
Reviewing screening questionnaire if appliable
Position patient
Setting proper technical factors
Administering radiation
Understand Radiology workflows metrics process
Practice Patient/Staff Experience initiatives
Learn the QA Program and radiation safety policies
Learn Quality Control documentation
Taking Vital Signs
Performing EKGs
Height and weight measurements
Performing/observing point or care rapid testing
Perform Urinalysis urine culture pregnancy testing
Infection Control
Assist provider in applying prefabricated splints
