Job Description
As a Medical Information Manager you will be joining the world's largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.
**What you will be doing:**
+ Provide continuous monitoring of all inquiries to external stakeholders by participating in Client's inquiry management system's manager's queue to conduct detailed review of each inquiry handled by MI associates for accuracy, relevance & alignment with Client's standards.
+ Provide feedback to MI associates to ensure inquiry handling meets all expectations
+ May provide guidance to MI associates on handling escalated inquiries
+ Review and approve medical response documents for products across therapeutic areas. Ensure medical response documents are accurate, up-to-date, & aligned with Client's standards.
+ Develops and maintains response database for assigned products
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify strategies and execute tactics to support Novartis products.
+ Develop and provide therapeutic and product training to multiple internal customers and stakeholders.
+ Monitor, collect, and analyze metrics for MI activities and report on a regular basis
+ May provide inquiry management coverage (no after-hours or weekend coverage)
**You are:**
+ BS/MS within scientific discipline required
+ RPh, RN, PhD, PharmD, MD; Oncology therapeutic area experience and knowledge preferred
+ 1-2 years of experience in medical writing, medical information/drug information, and/or relevant clinical experience
+ Ability to acquire knowledge of various disease states and products
+ Solid verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work in a matrix environment on cross-functional teams
+ Proven literature analysis and evaluation skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and technologically savvy
+ Ability to manage multiple projects within defined timelines
+ Solid ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts, prioritize, and organize in a complex, matrix environment
