Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a **Mid-Level Manufacturing Scheduler** to join Space Launch System program at the Michoud Assembly Facility in **New Orleans, Louisiana** owned by NASA. Boeing works at this site building the largest rocket in history in the world. The project will eventually take the world to Mars. **Position Responsibilities:** + Understands the integration of the scheduling and business systems. + Develops solutions to problems. + Analyzes and passes defect free data to down stream systems. + Trains co-workers on the data integration between master schedules and down stream systems, as well as processes used to pass the data. + Represents the business systems in workshops for process improvements. + Develops request for cost and risk impact associated with proposed schedule changes. + Analyzes and integrates inputs. + Develops cost/risk benefit summaries and recommendations for leadership approval, with assistance from higher level analyst. + Implements approved plan. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + 4+ years of experience working in a production environment. + Willing to work alternating shifts, holidays, and weekends to support customer's needs. **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor's degree + 6+ years of related work experience + Manufacturing scheduling experience on the Space Launch Systems Program **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies _._ **Shift:** This position is for rotational shift.
