**Req ID:** RQ211070 **Type of Requisition:** SCA **Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:** Secret **Public Trust/Other Required:** None **Job Family:** SCA **Skills:** Electronics,Satellite Communications (SATCOM),Troubleshooting **Experience:** 4 + years of related experience **US Citizenship Required:** Yes **Job Description:** GDIT is seeking a **Navy Global Command and Control - Maritime (GCCS-M) (Electronic Tech** to help support the **MARMC** program in **Norfolk, Virginia.** **This is an onsite position, and no relocation assistance is provided** **Must be a US Citizen** **Job Description:** + Performs highly complex technical functions in support of engineering activities such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment + Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions + Directs complex engineering tests to collect design data or assist in general research work + Diagnoses and isolates equipment and system malfunctions which fail to respond to standard corrective measures, and makes necessary repairs + Participates in the development of electronic equipment + Repairs or modifies cables and equipment returned by operational users or by personnel in the associated test and development laboratories + Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians, and may have supervisory responsibilities + May serve as a team leader + Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned + Candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years specific experience gained in troubleshooting, repair, and assessment of at least one of the following systems: + 1. AN/USQ-187 GCCS-M 4.1.12. AN/USQ-172 GCCS-M 4.0 + While not required, the more experience gained on these systems may be more advantageous to the government. 1. AN/USQ-151 Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT) 2. AN/USQ-152 TBMCS 3. AN/USQ-188 Radiant Mercury 4. AN/USQ-208 Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services - CANES 5. The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.84 - $40.38. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
