**Job Overview** Fairview is seeking a **Physician Assistant - Adult Psychiatry Inpatient** to join the Fairview medical team at the brand-new, state-of-the-art 144-bed behavioral health hospital. Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital located in St. Paul, Minnesota has an exciting opportunity to work with a growing team and help shape the delivery of compassionate, high-quality inpatient psychiatric care from the ground up. **Practice Details:** + This position is a **full-time (1.0 FTE)** role that includes coverage during **weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays** , as well as participation in the **call rotation** to ensure 24/7 continuity of care. + Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage treatment plans for adolescent/adult and/or geriatric inpatients. + Lead multidisciplinary Capitol Park treatment teams, including therapists, nurses, and social workers. + Participate in daily clinical rounds and team meetings. + Provide clinical leadership and oversight for Capitol Park behavioral health staff. + Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and hospital program development. **Qualifications:** + Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program + Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) through the NCCPA + Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice + Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota + Must meet credentialing and privileging criteria/qualifications + BLS certification required + Previous experience in acute care, adolescent care, and/or geriatric care preferred + **Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is required** **About the Facility:** Capitol Park Hospital is purpose-built to support patients with acute mental health needs in a safe, calming, and therapeutic environment.
