Job Description

Hank’s Bagels is looking for experienced bakers and prep cooks to join our commissary bakery team ! Our commissary is the central kitchen responsible for making all the bagels and prepped food items served daily at our four Hank’s locations .

At this time we are only interested in applicants with at least two years of recent, similar experience.

Our bakery shifts are typically eight hours and start between 3:30am and 5am, depending on your position.

You have to have the right attitude to be successful here. The right attitude is excited, reliable, punctual, humble, open to direction, and eager to learn. We are very busy. You have to be flexible and cool under pressure. You have to have reliable transportation. And you have to be available on weekends.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and bake our signature bagels

• Handle daily prep for sauces, spreads, and other menu items

• Work as part of a small, dedicated team focused on consistency and quality

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

What we’re looking for:

• Previous baking or prep experience (bagel or bread experience a plus!)

• Strong attention to detail and consistency

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Ability to work early mornings
