Job Description

Police Credit Union of Connecticut is seeking a dynamic, member-focused President & Chief Executive Officer to lead its $43 million, well-capitalized credit union serving law enforcement professionals statewide. The ideal candidate will bring strong lending and operational expertise, a collaborative leadership style, and a commitment to serving the unique needs of the law enforcement community. This is a hands-on executive opportunity to guide a growing, financially strong credit union through its next stage of modernization and strategic growth.

Position Purpose
The President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of Police Credit Union of Connecticut (Credit Union). Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO ensures the Credit Union’s financial strength, regulatory compliance, member satisfaction, and organizational culture remain aligned with the traditions of the law enforcement community it serves.

This individual will lead with agility, vision, and authenticity—balancing traditional values and loyalty with the vision and modern practices needed to guide the Credit Union through its next phase of growth and evolution.

About Police Credit Union of Connecticut
Police Credit Union of Connecticut is a member-owned financial cooperative dedicated to serving active and retired law enforcement officers, their families, and affiliated public safety professionals across the state. Membership continues to grow across its statewide field of membership, and is supported by robust loan demand.

Founded on principles of trust, respect for the chain of command, and service, the Credit Union has built a proud legacy of serving those who protect and serve. As it continues to evolve, the organization seeks a leader who can honor its history while strengthening its position as a modern, compliant, and community-focused financial institution that remains both relevant and attractive to the next generation of members.

  • Oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring efficiency, member service excellence, and prudent financial stewardship.
  • Provide direction in accounting, lending, ALM, compliance, risk management, retail operations, IT, and human resources.

  • Lead lending strategies that balance growth, risk management, and member needs.
  • Promote business development and relationship-building with law enforcement agencies, unions, and community partners statewide.
Culture & Talent Development
  • Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous learning among staff.
