About the job

The purpose of this position is to provide support in the development of ways of working in Import/Export operations and to identify continual process improvements. This means many different tasks and responsibilities, and a lot of variety on a daily basis! You will work closely with other departments, both domestically and internationally, while working to lower costs, improve customer availability and increase efficiency.

About the assignment- 

As the Process Developer, you will be an active and integral part of the IKEA team with a large variety of job tasks and assignments. Among other things, you:

• Actively support Systems Support in day-to-day activities associated with import and entry documentation and shipment processing
• Contribute to the identification of process, including working methods
• Are responsible for process, working method and associated technology solution education

Qualifications

About you

You are highly motivated and work well on your own or in a large team of co-workers! You thrive in a diverse and global environment and have strong communications skills, both written and verbal. You enjoy working in a fast growing company and embrace the opportunities for challenges and learning that comes with it. Additionally, we believe that you:

• Have University or Technical Institution degree

• Demonstrate strong computer proficiency, programming, development, and technology skills. Preferably experience in VBA, SQL, ACCESS, EXCEL, QlikView/Qliksense, SharePoint/OneDrive, Microsoft Power Platform and Tools or other applicable programming knowledge.
• Are willing to travel internationally

Preferred but Not Required
• Previous experience from supply chain, logistics and/or import/export operations
• Knowledge of Customs federal laws and regulations
