Our new client operates two large-scale advanced manufacturing facilities in Central Texas. These sites support 24/7 production of highly specialized technology components used across multiple industries. The campuses include clean-room environments, engineering labs, and high-volume production lines that require a diverse, skilled workforce.

Job Summary

W e are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Specialist to support purchasing and accounting-related functions within a fast-paced environment. This role will be fully onsite in Taylor, TX and offers the opportunity to convert to a permanent position based on performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong spreadsheet skills, solid accounting experience, and exposure to a manufacturing setting.

Job Description

• Manage procurement-related documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and vendor records
• Process and reconcile invoices, supporting Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities
  
• Analyze data and generate reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  
• Support general accounting functions and ensure accuracy of financial records
  
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain efficient purchasing processes
  
• Assist with process improvements and documentation within procurement and accounting workflows

Skills Required

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong experience with invoices, AR/AP, and general accounting
  
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work independently in a fully onsite environment

Education

• Highschool diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (highly preferred)
  
• Experience in procurement or purchasing roles

Pay rate

• Starting at $31.00 per hour and more depending on experience
