Here's the job:

**We are in the process of opening a new facility, with operations expected to begin in July. As part of the preparation for this role, the selected candidate will be required to travel outside of Texas for training. If you are open to this commitment and excited about the opportunity to help launch a new facility, we would love to speak with you!

The Production Supervisor is responsible for a variety of tasks including planning, scheduling, helping resolve production issues and ensuring that all production projects are completed in a timely manner within specifications. The Production Supervisor observes and directs the floor operations, verifies product quality, handles scheduling, monitors and tracks key performance metrics, and is responsible for specific quality assurance documentation and data gathering.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads, trains, and coaches production staff to ensure manufacturing requirements are met; 
  • Organize shift schedules including breaks, lunch, and overtime; 
  • Act as department communicator during status meetings, management updates, and staff shift changes; 
  • Perform manufacturing processes by tracking and reporting daily metrics that meet production timeline and goals; 
  • Make sure equipment and machinery are properly maintained in specified department and promptly repaired; 
  • Ensure production quotas and quality standards are met or exceeded; 
  • Assist in hiring, training and reviewing performance of staff; 
  • Ensure products are in compliance with professional standards and customer requirements; 
  • Enforces safety policies and procedures at all times; 
  • Stays up-to-date with CGMPs, FDA, and other regulatory guidelines; 
  • Communicates effectively to maintain an inviting, friendly, and safe work environment; 
  • Signs off on verifications, packets, logs, and other documentations; 
  • Is proficient with various computer and reporting systems. 
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Work in environments with varying temperatures and exposure to liquid ingredients.
  • Must wear protective gear as required by company safety policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Plant Manager or Production Manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role preferably in liquid manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of batching, blending, and packaging operations.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of OSHA, GMP, and HACCP regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to production demands.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production tracking systems.
  • Effectively communicates in writing, by phone, or in person; Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Possess a willingness to learn;
  • Actively embraces healthy living;
