Project Manager – Facilities Maintenance & Management System (Part-Time, Contract)
Location: Lakewood, CO
Schedule: ~20 hours/week, typically 4–5 hour days Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM
Anticipated Start: Week of January 5, 2026
Project Duration: Through June 2026
Fusion HCR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the implementation of a new Facilities Maintenance and Management System (FMMS) , replacing existing asset lifecycle functionality. This part-time role will support the Director of Field Services and collaborate closely with internal business leads, IT, and the software vendor’s implementation team.
The Project Manager will oversee project health, quality assurance, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication. This role includes coordination across multiple functional areas and ensuring all project activities—business process redesign, configuration, data conversion, integrations, testing, training, cutover, and post-go-live support—are executed successfully.
Lead and facilitate project management meetings and cross-functional coordination
Maintain the project plan, schedule, risks, and issues (RAID log)
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor resources and internal teams
Track progress, provide status updates, and manage change control
Support contract administration and monitor vendor deliverables
Coordinate process mapping, configuration, integrations, testing, and training activities
Prepare for go-live and support transition into post-implementation stabilization
Bachelor’s degree preferred (experience may substitute)
10+ years of project management experience , including complex technology implementations
Experience with SaaS deployments and business process improvement
Strong understanding of IT systems, integrations, and operational workflows
Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills
Experience in public sector or K-12 environments preferred
Preferred certifications: PMP, CAPM, CSM/PSM, PMI-ACP, Agile, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to document and understand complex business processes
Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
High attention to detail and strong project management discipline
Ability to work independently and escalate appropriately
Experience presenting to senior leadership
Primarily onsite role with occasional remote work (approval required)
No supervisory responsibilities
