Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - State Hospital Location: Tewksbury, MA Pay: $26/hour Facility Type: State Hospital Shifts Available: Evenings & Nights + 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM + 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Weekend Requirement: Must be available every other weekend Time-Off Policy: No requested time off during the first 13 weeks + No holiday time off preferred Responsibilities + Provide exceptional nursing care under the supervision of an RN or LPN. + Monitor and record patient vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, etc.). + Communicate with patients to assess needs and provide emotional and social support. + Assist nurses or physicians with medical equipment and patient care procedures. + Respond to emergency codes and assist in ensuring safe patient care and management. Minimum Requirements + Certification as a Nurse Aide under the Massachusetts Aide Registry. + 1 year of experience preferred. + Experience working under the supervision of an RN or LPN. + Demonstrated competency appropriate to the age of patients served.
