**Hybrid | Westlake, TX**

We're looking for a candidate with a strong background in Python development and experience in designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software solutions. The primary focus will be on developing applications for acquiring, storing, and calculating on large volumes of data using mathematical formulas.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $64 - $74 / hr. w2

• Design, develop, and implement complex Python data computation applications.
• Lead the design and implementation of key features and components of our product suite.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and maintainability through linting and automated testing.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure software deliverables meet high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.

• Proven experience as a Senior Python Developer primarily backend applications.
• Strong knowledge of Python and familiarity with various Python libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Flask, Django, Fast API.
• Understanding of code quality, DevSecOps, and automated testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience in leading a team or mentoring junior developers is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Experience Analytical platforms like Snowflake.
• Experience with financial services data.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
