Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Commerce, CA . This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and product quality.

Role Details

• Shift: 2nd shift ( 4 pm to 12.30 am)
• Pay Rate : 23 to 25 DOE
• Location: Commerce, CA

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Product Inspection: Identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations in food products and manufacturing processes.
• Food Safety Leadership: Apply a deep understanding of critical food safety principles, hygiene, sanitation, and contamination prevention.
• Laboratory Testing: Conduct and oversee laboratory testing and food analysis to ensure quality control standards are met.
• Process Oversight: Ensure all production activities align with established quality protocols and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Quality Control role within food manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and laboratory testing procedures.

Education and Certifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science , Chemistry, Biology, or a related field is highly preferred.
• PCQI Certification: Must be a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) or have the ability to obtain certification.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) regulations.
• Compliance: Experience maintaining standards for FDA and USDA- regulated environments.
