Scheduled Weekly Hours: 20 Emplify Health by Gundersen is looking for an experienced RN to join our growing team in the Outpatient Surgery Center in Winona, MN! What you will do: 0.5 FTE - 40 hours every two weeks (orientation will be full time hours) 8-hour shifts Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:00 am -4:30 pm Work in Winona, MN with potential for hours in La Crosse, WI Care for variety of patient populations from pediatric to geriatric Provide pre op/post op care for surgical cases including ophthalmology, otolaryngology, general surgery, gynecology, total joint, urology, GI, pain injections, sports medicine, hand and podiatry Start IV's, administer medications including conscious sedation to GI Lab and Pain Injection Clinic patients Patient education and discharge instructions What you will get: Our team collaborates closely, supporting each other to deliver the best patient care Energetic setting where your skills are constantly engaged Variety in your work and opportunities to learn each day Departmental leadership support including Clinical Manager, Clinical Supervisor and Professional Development Nurse (Nurse Educator) Access to our Career Development Center Top-rated retirement plan and healthcare benefits What you will need RN license to work in the state of Minnesota, Wisconsin RN license preferred upon hire, needs to be obtained within 90 days Minimum 2 years RN experience in acute care Minimum of an associate degree in nursing BLS for health care providers ACLS and PALS certification is required within 6 months after hire Experience with moderate sedation desired Emplify Health is comprised of two of the Midwest's most respected healthcare systems, Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System.
