Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Low Voltage Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations across all low-voltage installation projects. Your expertise will help safeguard our team, projects, and customers while maintaining our commitment to excellence in the telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and protocols for low-voltage telecommunications projects.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on job sites to ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and industry standards.
  • Provide safety training and education for field staff, including new hire orientations and ongoing safety updates.
  • Monitor and review job site conditions, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Maintain detailed records of safety training, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to integrate safety measures into project plans.
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and violations, providing comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters, including regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a safety-related role, preferably in low-voltage telecommunications or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other safety regulations applicable to construction and low-voltage installations.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA 30, Certified Safety Professional [CSP], or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate field teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software is a plus.
