Title: Salesforce Business Systems Analyst
Duration: 18 Months with possible extension
Location: Remote
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Assist in leading the development of user stories and technical requirements for process or system solutions which will span multiple business partners by collaborating with stakeholders and business areas.
- Participate in all phases of requirements gathering, solution design, configuration (or development), testing activities, end-user training and application administration.
- Participate in the business process reviews for requirement gathering and documentation.
- Translate business requirements into IT requirements, leveraging salesforce best practices and a low code/no code maxim approach.
- Work with business and stakeholders to develop requirements for various initiatives.
- Participates in all Agile/Scrum activities including user story submission, user story/backlog grooming, planning, and assists in sprint planning and schedules.
- Assist with breaking down business partner stories and business requirements into backlog items to be worked by the product developers and ensure the developers have a thorough understanding of each business partner story and / or application requirement.
- Participate in technical design reviews and collaborate on proposed technical solutions and approach.
- Collaborate with other business analysts, developers, project managers, and business users in daily scrum sessions to ensure consistency in sprint schedules.
- Document and assign defects resulting from functional, regression and load testing.
- Maintain IT relationships by working with application architects, infrastructure teams, and / or database administrators to ensure compliance with State of New Hampshire Technology processes including SDLC, code review process, promotion process, etc.
- Must be comfortable taking appropriate steps to protect PHI/PII/PCI.
Skills and Technologies:
- 5+ years of experience as a Lead Analyst, Admin, or Developer.
- 4 years of experience in Agile Methodology.
- 4 years of experience with SDLC Methodology.
- 4 years of Project management experience.
- 3 years of experience with customer relationship management processes and systems.
- 3 years of Salesforce.com experience including Sales Cloud.
- 3 years of experience as administrator for Salesforce service cloud with thorough understanding of standard functionality, custom objects, fields, validation rule, workflow rules, flow, process builder and standard deployment practices along with user profile, permissions, and roles.
- Excellent oral and written comprehension/communication skills.
- Very strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Understanding the limits of Salesforce platform and when to engage the appropriate solution to meet the needs of the business.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and prioritize workload to meet deadlines for yourself as well as the team.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required.
Salesforce Public Sector (Formerly Vlocity) and Capado Experience Highly Preferred.
