All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time; Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p; School Year: August - May **Location:** 43 E Stevenson Drive, Glendale Heights, IL 60139 **The community you'll be working with:** UChicago Medicine AdventHealth GlenOaks Alternative School, Grades 3-12 **The role you'll contribute:** Develops and implements art therapy treatment plans and teaches art classes to students in grades 3 through 12 in alternative school setting **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Teaches art classes to students in grades 3 through 12. + Conducts student assessments to identify emotional and psychological needs. + Develops individualized art therapy treatment plans based on student assessments. + Creates and facilitates art therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs. + Collaborates with healthcare providers to integrate art therapy into the overall treatment plan. + Monitors and evaluates student progress during art therapy sessions. + Other duties as assigned. + Adjusts treatment plans as necessary based on student progress and feedback. + Coordinates therapeutic art activities for both individual and group sessions. + Observes and documents student responses to art therapy interventions. + Encourages student socialization and expression through art activities. + Provides students with information regarding resources and therapeutic art activities in the community. + Maintains detailed records of student assessments, treatment plans, and progress. + Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss student care and treatment outcomes.
