Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop Indirect sourcing strategies through suppliers and component parts to support new and current program to achieve in quality, cost, and timeline.
• Analyze and evaluate all suppliers (both local and oversea) in order to select considering strategic commodity business plan.
• Responsible for the procurement of assigned commodity at the Plant.
• Help set strategies for commodities in line with plant and global procurement initiatives.
• Manage in-direct material purchasing.
• SAP purchasing key user.
• In collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager, we negotiate commodity prices and conditions of supply with potential suppliers to establish long-term contracts.
• Support cost reduction projects.  Identify the most competitive source of supply and decrease the number of active suppliers to a more manageable level.
• Identify innovative methods of procurement and ensure early supplier involvement.
• Analyze market forecasts and trends affecting commodities.  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional and global economic conditions and business situations that impact materials within assigned commodities.
• Conduct supplier business review meetings with the support of technical departments.
• Create purchase orders and follow-up on processing to ensure material deadlines are met.
• Secure quality of delivered materials and drive supplier development with Support of SQA.
• Manage in-direct material (package, gauge, tooling, spare parts, equipment) purchase work
• Responsibility for in-direct material cost reduction activities.
• Maintain a sufficient supplier base for responsible commodity and execute purchasing strategy and plan which aligned with global commodity manager.
• As a purchasing SAP key user.
• Be responsible for the establishment of specific work rules to reduce task risks, and be responsible for his management areas, machines, employees. Hold the related EHS training and ensure the implementation of work rules; Facilitate routine workplace safety inspection. Identify any hazard and take corrective actions; Encourage employees to involve in establishment, implementation and modification of safety and operation rules; Performance appraisals use established EHS measurements and objectives, Timely investigation of accident and correction of root causes; Attend and participate in safety meeting and trainings; Specific presentation is included in individual TMS and job description.
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor and Manager.
