Industrial Designer (Mid to Senior Level) – Freelance to Full-Time
Friends of is seeking a talented, driven mid-to-senior level Industrial Designer to join our growing team. This is a full-time freelance position with the potential to transition into a salaried role. We’re currently looking for local candidates based in the NYC area who are excited to collaborate in our studio environment.
As a small but dynamic team, we work across a wide range of industries, including consumer electronics, furniture, medical devices, and everything in between. You’ll have the opportunity to shape a variety of products, with a focus on design that is intended for production and real-world use. Each team member plays a key role in managing schedules, deliverables, and communication, so while exceptional design work is essential, strong project management skills are also necessary to oversee projects from concept to completion.
