Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Marketing Specialist to lead our marketing efforts and drive
revenue growth. As a key member of the executive team, the Senior Marketing Specialist will oversee all digital
marketing channels, manage external partnerships, and collaborate closely with sales to optimize conversions
and expand revenue opportunities. This role requires a blend of creative vision, analytical expertise, and
proven leadership in digital marketing tactics.
The ideal candidate is experienced in social media strategy, email marketing automation, SEO, agency
oversight, and podcast promotion. They will play a pivotal role in elevating our brand through consistent, high-
impact content and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on digital channels to increase
brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue.
● Manage social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, posting, and engagement using
tools like RecurPost for recurring and automated schedules.
● Create email marketing campaigns, including list management, segmentation, automation, and
performance analysis to nurture leads and drive conversions.
● Produce and promote and grow the Secure The Perimeter podcast, including content planning, episode
promotion across platforms, audience growth strategies, and monetization opportunities.
● Manage relationships and progress with our external Ad Agency, including campaign planning,
performance tracking, budget allocation, and ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
● Lead website management and SEO initiatives, including on-page optimization, content strategy,
keyword research, technical improvements, and analytics to improve organic traffic and search
rankings.
● Collaborate closely with the Sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, develop lead
nurturing funnels, create supporting materials, and implement tactics that boost conversion rates and
revenue.
● Analyze marketing performance metrics across all channels (e.g., social engagement, email open/click
rates, website traffic, ad ROI) and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
● Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to innovate and maintain competitive
advantage.
● Manage marketing budgets, forecasts, and ROI reporting to executive leadership.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
● 7+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
(e.g., Marketing Director or CMO).
● Proven track record of driving revenue growth through digital channels, including social media, email
marketing, SEO, and paid advertising.
● Hands-on experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., RecurPost or similar), email platforms,
SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush), and content management systems.
● Experience managing external agencies and vendors, with strong negotiation and performance oversight skills.
● Demonstrated success in podcast or content marketing promotion is a plus.
● Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and tools like Google Analytics,
CRM systems, and marketing automation software.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally,
especially with sales teams.
● Creative mindset balanced with a results-oriented approach to achieving KPIs such as lead volume,
conversion rates, and revenue attribution.
