Job Title: Senior Oracle Apps DBA

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

1. Sound Knowledge of EBS Upgrade, Implementation, Migration, patching and database upgrades.
2. Expertise in EBS and Non-EBS Database cloning/Patching.
3. Knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
4. Experience and knowledge in migrating code, database changes, Oracle quarterly patch installs
5. Proficient in Oracle RAC,ASM, Datagaurd and OEM. PCP Setup and troubleshooting
6. Proficient in analysis and application of GI Patchset, OJVM PSU patches (APPS and DB), Oracle Security Alert Patches, Timely Recommended Patch Upgrades, EBS Maintenance Packs, Bug-Fixes, TAR/SR Creations/Escalations and Issue Resolutions. Maintain Patch logs, Version Controls.
7. Experience with Oracle Tools OEM Grid Control, Quest Tools, Export/Import Tools, RMAN backup Tool, Setting up Alerts and Pro-Active and Preventive Maintenance.
8. Knowledge of ISupplier, DMZ configuration.
9. Ability to fine tune the concurrent processing in large EBS environment.
10. Experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with R12.1 and R12.2 experience throughout all stages of the lifecycle
11. Proven experience with multiple operating systems: Linux/Unix/Solaris/Windows and physical database design
12. Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware applications/Oracle Weblogic.
13. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
14. Experience with managing and upgrading Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c and higher
15. Expertise in Oracle database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
16. Strong experience in Backup and Recovery of large databases from Tape or RMAN online backups.
17. Working knowledge of Tablespace Encryption and Oracle Advanced security tools
18. Proficient with using sqldeveloper/ TOAD and Grid control
19. Proficient in shell scripting and automation.
20. Proficient in managing databases with multi-tenant architecture.
21. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
22. Familiarity with Oracle Goldegate.
23. Proven ability to develop and maintain documentation
24. Knowledge of SQL and MySQL desirable
