**Job Title: Sewer Utility Locator**

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, locating, and marking underground sewer utilities for construction and maintenance projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction projects and avoiding damage to existing underground infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct thorough site investigations to accurately identify and locate underground sewer lines and related utilities.
- Utilize advanced electronic equipment and tools to map and mark the locations of sewers and other utilities.
- Interpret utility maps, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure accurate markings.
- Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to communicate the location of utility lines and discuss potential conflicts.
- Document and report findings, maintaining precise records of located utilities.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to prevent damage to sewer infrastructure during excavation and construction activities.
- Respond promptly to locate requests and manage schedules to meet project deadlines efficiently.


**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in utility locating is preferred.
- Previous experience in utility locating, construction, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of reading and interpreting utility maps and construction plans.
- Proficiency in using locating equipment such as ground-penetrating radar and electromagnetic field devices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
